The wood finish and gold accents are–as we have emphasized already–clearly stylish and sophisticated. This vape pen just feels rich. KandyPens’ fire button is always comfortable and slightly fun to press. Overall, we are familiar with KandyPens design template–not much new here, so it works per usual.

The tapered mouthpiece is new—as is the included fillable cartridge. We are loving these 510 threaded oil cartridges, which you can either pick up at the dispensary, or fill up the one they provided with essential oils. As for the atomizer coils, once they get gooey and overused, it’s nice that they are easy and inexpensive to replace (TVG25 gets you 25% off replacement atomizers at KandyPens).

The Flacko Jodye vape pen looks and feels great, and it’s nice having the complimentary case for safe keeping in your purse or pocket.

How to Use the KandyPens Flacko Jodye Pen

The KandyPens Flacko Jodye Pen is easy to use with either the quartz or ceramic coils or the 510 oil tanks.

With wax:

1. Wind your choice of atomizer onto the base of the vape pen (the battery)
2. Use a dab tool to place a small amount of wax (~0.1g) onto the coil
3. Replace the mouthpiece
4. Press the power button 5x to power on
5. Toggle temp presets by clicking 3x.

Once you’ve selected a temp setting, hold the button and inhale. Take it easy at first, and then increase temperature and air flow for preference.

With oil:

1. Either wind a pre-filled 510 threaded cartridge onto the pen’s battery
2. Or, fill the supplied tank with essential oils and wind onto the pen’s body.

Performance and Vapor Quality of the KandyPens Flacko Jodye Dab Pen

The ceramic coil is the choice for beginners, though anyone who enjoys cool, smooth vapor will enjoy too. The ceramic coil heats up slowly and preserves flavor nicely. This atomizer works well with higher temperatures, and the wispier vapor production of lower temp settings allows you to vape discreetly.

The dual quartz coil heats up quickly and produces apparent clouds and dense vapor. This coil is meant for more advanced users. I preferred the lower temperature settings with this coil.

My favorite thing lately, is using the 510 threaded cartridge. I have not arrived to the point of manually filling up the included tank with oil, but I did pick up a pre-filled one and set it up on the Flacko Jodye pen. Nice clouds and incredible flavor! Future of THC vaping right here.

Finally, as for the performance on the unit itself, the battery is good, so you’ll be set for the duration of At.Long.Last.ASAP without interruption. An hour or so will have you back at full charge, and you will always have the little charger with you in the kit, so no frustrating dead battery situations.
